SPACE "A" TRIP HOME TO COLORADO on a C-37 (or "Free trip home aboard Brad's former, amazing plane)
We were blessed, at the very last minute, to be able to hop home to Colorado Springs to hang out with my family. It was so perfect! It was over a weekend, Dave and Hannah were in town, Dan was around and Brittney came down from Ft. Collins, mom and dad each took a day off work to play with us, etc. We went to the Welcome center at Focus on the Family, the Cheyenne Mt. Zoo (had a blast inspite of initial rain and the animals put on such a show for us!), got in on lots of wedding activity, went to FARGOS (a family favorite/tradition!), got a date night, Caden and daddy went on a hike, and the boys got to play with lots of dogs! I was too busy all weekend to take pictures (plus thats Grandmas job when we're together) except of the plane ride out there. It was SO NICE! The flight attendant did meals, drinks, warm towels, etc on both legs and we felt so taken care of! Brad is used to that, I guess, but I thought it was pretty great! Caden too! He enjoyed many glasses of cranberry juice (his official in flight beverage), cookies, watching curious george, etc. Seeing just how well they are taken care of and how much fun they have on the ground, made me realize just how good Brad has had it flying the C-37 and just how much he'll miss! What a way to travel!
