Thankfully, the move was uneventful! We were blessed with fairly good movers and it was a straight shot from Florida to Georgia with only a few bathroom/food stops! Brad had already been there for a week and a half and was in the midst of interviewing managers to see what sort of job he wanted to do for his first rotation. He met the neighbors while moving into our rental house a few hours before we arrived. They were Wonderful, helping him to unload his full car and sharing air mattresses, blankets, etc. with us! We are in a cozy little house (the garage is packed with stuff!) that will be perfect for the 8 months we're here! The neighbors are fun (though a bit loud in the middle of the night, at times) and we love living on a cul-de-sac! We LOVE the area! It is a small town, outside of a large town, so we've got a little bit of everything! I have a Starbucks (with drive through!!), a super walmart, 2 grocery stores and good restaurants within a mile and a half, which is the most we've ever had close to us!! AND, we have a TRADER JOES only 15 minutes away! We are so Thankful to have a good church that we actually live within 15 minutes of!
The Best part of moving...playing in the paper! There is lots of it!!!!

And the boxes!!

I LOVE Trader Joes also and will trek to Union Square in Greenwich Village to get my groceries. I then have them delivered later in the day for a $10 fee. I decided it was not worth the savings to try lugging all the heavy bags on the subway and the 1/2 mile to my house- up 4 flights of stairs!! (Milk is really heavy!!) Be thankful for your car! One of the many benefits of living in suburbia :) I am delighted to have a Starbucks 4 doors down- that is the benefit of city living.
